Jolanda Rendl
Jolanda Rendl is a contemporary painter based in Vienna whose work is characterized by a deep and thoughtful exploration of everyday life. She lives and works in Vienna and is currently studying painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in the Department of Art and Image/Extension.
In her artistic practice, Rendl focuses on intimate everyday situations that are often perceived as mundane. She takes these moments out of their usual context and gives them new, deeper meaning. Her work goes beyond merely depicting external circumstances to reveal the psychological and emotional layers behind routine actions.
A distinctive feature of her work is the use of patterns and repetition. These recurring elements create a sense of continuity and structure that provide her with support during the creative process and invite viewers to reconsider and question seemingly familiar situations. Through this approach, she opens a space where everyday experiences reveal themselves as multifaceted and complex human phenomena.
Rendl’s works have been exhibited in various shows, including Galerie Krinzinger in Vienna, Parallel Vienna, and other international group exhibitions. Her art balances emotional depth with formal precision and invites viewers to engage in an intimate and reflective examination of what it means to be human.
